At Jiwarajka Textile, we’ve always believed that textiles are more than just fabric—they’re a legacy, a craft, and a powerful economic force. For decades, we’ve been part of India’s vibrant textile ecosystem, blending tradition with innovation to create products that resonate both locally and globally. So, when we look at Bharat Tex 2025, we see not just an event, but a transformative moment for India’s textile industry—one that promises to cement our nation’s place as a world leader in this dynamic sector. Held from February 14-17, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, this second edition of Bharat Tex was a spectacle of ambition, collaboration, and vision. Here’s why we think it’s a game-changer, not just for us at Jiwarajka, but for the global textile industry as a whole.
Bharat Tex 2025 wasn’t a small affair—it sprawled across 2.2 million square feet at Bharat Mandapam, hosting over 5,000 exhibitors and drawing more than 120,000 visitors from 120+ countries. Imagine the buzz: manufacturers, exporters, designers, policymakers, and global CEOs all under one roof, exploring everything from raw fibers to high-fashion garments. For us at Jiwarajka, it was a proud moment to witness India’s entire textile value chain on display, from rural artisans to cutting-edge technical textiles shaping industries like healthcare and automotive.
“Bharat Tex is more than an event—it’s a launchpad for India’s textile ambitions,” says Anish Jiwarajka, Managing Partner at Jiwarajka Textile Industries. “I see it playing a pivotal role in positioning us as a global leader by bringing the entire value chain under one roof, from farmers to exporters, and showcasing our strengths to the world. It’s not just about scale; it’s about proving we can lead in sustainability, innovation, and quality.” He adds, “At Bharat Tex 2025, I saw buyers from across the globe engaging with our traditional crafts and cutting-edge textiles alike. That kind of visibility, paired with government initiatives like PM MITRA and PLI, is what will propel us past the competition. For me, it’s about showing the world that India doesn’t just produce textiles—we define the future of them.”
If there’s one thing the world is watching for, it’s sustainability—and Bharat Tex 2025 didn’t disappoint. At Jiwarajka, we’ve long embraced eco-friendly practices, and seeing this ethos amplified at Bharat Mandapam was inspiring. The Sustainability Pavilion showcased recycled materials and energy-efficient technologies, with India’s push for net-zero emissions taking center stage. For us, this wasn’t just a trend—it’s a validation of our commitment to responsible production.
Walking through Bharat Tex 2025 felt like stepping into the future. The Startup Innovation Pavilion buzzed with ideas like AI-driven trend forecasting, while sessions on technical textiles had us rethinking our own boundaries. Jiwarajka was right there in the mix, showcasing our expertise. “At Bharat Tex 2025, we showcased what Jiwarajka does best—our high-quality polyester yarns that cater to diverse needs,” Anish Jiwarajka shares. “We displayed our range of Partially Oriented Yarn (POY) and Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY), Polyester Texturised Yarn (PTY), Polyester Mother Yarn (PMY), Industrial Yarn (IDY), including raw white, bright, and semi-dull variants, alongside our specialty dope-dyed polyester yarns in vibrant, pre-selected colors. These products highlight our focus on innovation and sustainability, offering efficient, eco-friendly solutions for weaving and knitting applications. It was an opportunity to demonstrate our expertise in polyester textiles, from versatile texturized yarns to premium offerings tailored for global markets.”
One of the most electric aspects of Bharat Tex 2025 was its international pull. Delegates from over 120 countries mingled with Indian exporters, and the Investors’ Meet buzzed with talk of joint ventures. With India’s textile exports aiming to triple to ₹9 lakh crore by 2030, the event opened doors to new markets, letting us showcase our premium yarns to buyers who value quality and ethics.
Textiles in India are about people—over 45 million employed directly and 55 million indirectly, many in rural areas. Bharat Tex 2025 highlighted this through artisan masterclasses and workforce development talks, tying into the “Farm to Fibre, Fabric, Fashion, and Foreign Markets” vision. For us at Jiwarajka, this resonates deeply, as our roots remind us of the talent fueling our industry.
For us, Bharat Tex 2025 was a mirror reflecting our journey from a family-run business to a trusted name in polyester yarns. “Showcasing Jiwarajka at Bharat Tex 2025 was nothing short of exhilarating,” reflects Anish Jiwarajka. “The energy at Bharat Mandapam was electric—there’s something special about seeing your work resonate with such a diverse, international crowd. Our stall was buzzing with buyers, designers, and industry peers, all keen to explore what we had on offer. I was thrilled with the response—people appreciated the quality and story behind our fabrics, especially the sustainable range. We had meaningful conversations with buyers from Europe, Southeast Asia, and even emerging markets, which tells me our vision aligns with where the industry is headed. It wasn’t just about business; it was a proud moment to represent India’s textile legacy on such a grand stage.”
Globally, the textile industry needs leaders who can deliver scale, sustainability, and innovation. Bharat Tex 2025 positions India—and companies like ours—as that leader, redefining the game with a focus on collaboration and eco-conscious production.
As the dust settles on Bharat Tex 2025, we’re left with excitement and urgency. The partnerships forged and ideas sparked will ripple through the industry for years. At Jiwarajka, we’re already thinking about leveraging this momentum—perhaps a new sustainable yarn line or a tech-driven process tweak. India’s textile story is just beginning, and Bharat Tex 2025 has stitched us firmly into its global fabric.
Here’s to a future where India doesn’t just participate in the textile world—but leads it. From our looms to yours, the journey’s only begun.
